I will not forget that moment when I came back from the second floor (Operating Room) to ward 5B leaving my child behind doing emergency surgery. I was totally devastated and falling apart psychologically. Sister Kanimozhi came to the room asking if I need anything. The look on her face, though sad, was full of compassion and so supportive. I really needed somebody to be with me at that moment and she gave me that comfort that I required. She started talking to me with so much affection. She lifted my burden at that time. She was a shoulder waiting for me to lean on in a difficult time. I am very thankful to her for her great assistance. After handing over, she deliberately came back with comforting words to tell me goodbye. She is a true DAISY Nurse for her compassionate care of patients.
