Kanyanut's accurate assessment was crucial in ensuring the patient received timely care, increasing their chances of survival and reducing disability.
I would like to commend Ms. Kanyanut Norasan, a nurse in the Neurology department, for her expertise in assessing neurological symptoms on the day of the incident. Kaynaat's attentiveness to patients and her ability to make quick decisions, which contribute to better patient care, led her to receive a consultation call from another department. Regarding a patient with difficulty swallowing, a request was made to consult a Neurologist.
Ms. Kanyanut took a patient history and conducted a screening. Suspecting a stroke, she immediately instructed staff from another department to activate the stroke code. Reporting is done through the chain of command to help patients receive a quick diagnosis, eliminating the need to refer patients to 19D. Follow the Stroke code flow after activating the Stroke code as recommended by Ms. Kanyanut Norasan from the Neurology Department. A multidisciplinary team provided care to the patient according to Stroke Fast Track standards.
The patient was diagnosed with "Acute infraction at the right medulla "Oblongata," a condition requiring urgent care. Kanyanut's accurate assessment was crucial in ensuring the patient received timely care, increasing their chances of survival and reducing disability. She possesses extensive knowledge and skills, assumes significant responsibility, and is strongly committed to providing excellent care to patients with neurological conditions.
