We had come to the hospital at 10 am as my wife was having some pretty consistent contractions. After several hours without much progress, her water finally broke. As we were transitioned to another room, Kara started her shift. My wife had been having painful contractions for over 7 hours now and was becoming very frustrated. Kara did an amazing job to get her to relax and remain calm. As the night progressed, Kara continued to provide comfort and a positive outlook on the situation. When it was determined that a C section was going to be performed, Kara again demonstrated a great ability to keep me and my wife calm. Everything went great from there on out and we'd like to thank Kara for everything that she had done during those 12 hours. Thank you for being such a compassionate and hard-working nurse during such a life changing event for our family.
