Kara Hinrichs, BSN, RN
Kara is not only one of the kindest and most caring person towards her patients, but she also treats her co-workers the same. I remember being brand new at NKCH and being nervous about the transition. Kara was only my preceptor for a few days, but she was always there to answer questions and doesn’t mind doing so. She shows true compassion for her patients. Kara has made more of an impression on me than any other nurse in my work life. She taught me to be efficient in my work but to do it with care. I never feel alone when I’m on a unit with her.
