Kara is very caring. She always came when I needed her and at a reasonable time. I had absolutely no problems with her and she is exceptional.
***
Kara is very competent and well trained. She took time out of her busy schedule to explain things to me so that I could understand them. She never once complained, no matter how many times I asked the same questions, she was always pleasant with an answer. Not only was she pleasant and cordial to me, she showed my visitors the same respect. She made a very scary situation bearable and put my mind at ease. While she was working, I felt as if I was her only patient. I believe this is the epitome of a nurse and employee. To her, I say thank you.
***
As a nursing student coming into the hospital was a little nerve-racking. When I met Kara she instantly put my mind at ease. She was what I envisioned what a nurse is. She was attentive, fair, firm, and compassionate to the patient and the student nurses needs as well. She would literally drop what she was doing to help and guide the nursing student and begin molding the foundation of what a nurse should be. She boosted my confidence and helped me with everything that I did not understand. I hope one day I get to work on a team with her. I would go into any setting and be comfortable with her by my side. I just want to give her the biggest thank you for being such a positive experience in my nursing school adventure.

I was having a really bad day, mental meltdown from years of hospitalizations. Kara talked me down and is the calmest, nurturing, and friendliest nurse I have ever met. She is awesome.
