Kara was the first nurse I had when I was moved to the Mother Baby Unit. I only had her for a few hours, but she made quite a lasting impression. I was recovering from general anesthesia and a C-section so I was sore, emotional and extremely anxious.
Right away Kara made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered to her. She did everything and more to make me physically comfortable; including packing me with ice and getting me a Popsicle.
She helped me become emotionally stable by staying by my side and educating me and answering all my questions related to my baby. She was very kind.
