Kara exhibits everything that a nurse leader and manager should. She is always available for a chat for support or problem-solving. She's quick to dive in and help out her nurses. She never shies away from dealing with complex situations and appropriately escalates all issues to the proper channels.
She is empathetic and kind. Her nursing skills are evident. In the year she has been with us, she has made such a difference on our unit.
