Karen has many years of home health care eaxperience. Her patients love her dearly and she has very good outcomes. She is dependable, trustworthy and dedicated to her job. But what makes her stand out among nurses is her seemingly unending patience, willingness to listen to her patients and co-workers when they need to talk, her willingness to take students along on her rounds without being asked, her sensitivity when dealing with delicate situations among other staff members and/or patients, and the fact that "Team Player" in the dictionary should have her picture underneath it! She coordinates the daily schedule for the nurses and does this fairly, often taking the lion's share of the workload for herself. She also offers to take on more interoffice responsibilities than is required of her. When her patients are readmitted to home care, they almost always request to be assigned to Karen again. It's her skill, caring attitude and dependability that make her a desirable case manager for her patients. She is irreplaceable and we are so lucky to have her work with us!
