Nominated by associate: Karen Ardis is my mentor. She has been a nurse for 21 years and it shows. I have had 3 preceptors and Karen is by far the most skilled, efficient, caring and empathetic. She has a wonderful relationship with both patients and physicians, and also associates. Her patients miss her when she is off and have asked when she will return. I have learned so much from her and am a better nurse for it. I am writing this is hopes that she will be recognized for her loyalty and skill, as well as her compassion
