Karen Best, RN

Nurse Karen knows that I am not a fan of IV starts. After she had taken my history, a different nurse came to relieve Nurse Karen. Nurse Karen decided to stay with me to start my IV and had the nurse take another assignment. Nurse Karen didn't make a big deal of this, but it was a big deal to me (she could have easily left for her shift change or break). She always displays a sense of empathy and encourages me to continue my preventative approach and I know that I am receiving the best care possible.
