My brother was admitted and the first 2 nights were rough. Karen came on at night, and things changed. She had a soft caring voice and listened to my concerns about my brother’s pain. No matter how many times we pushed the button, Karen came right away and gave medications quickly too. She always calmed me when she would talk to my brother as if he was awake. Her kindness and caring showed in her actions. Karen’s bedside care and listening ears gave my brother and me comfort. She is a special nurse who I will forever remember and love.
