Karen Boling deserves this award for her consistent excellent work, but just this morning I witnessed her brightening up a vet’s day with some humor. Yesterday this patient got some very bad news concerning his prognosis and Karen was aware of this. She took some extra time in her busy medication pass to help him feel a little better and get his mind off his health for a little while. She is a wonderful informative mentor for orienting staff to BCMA system. She is willing to do anything for the greater good of the unit and to help all staff members.
