Karen treated me like a fellow human being who needed some care. She was concerned with cleanliness and my comfort. She was not condescending nor patronizing. I was spoken to as a human equal, not some sort of invalid or child. She suggested a walk since I had been in bed for a while and was not confined to bed. It is obvious that she treats patients as individuals not just applying a "formula "care, the same for everyone. She noticed and cleaned up some dried blood that others had not noticed. I think it is amazing that Karen still has this degree of care and dedication after 27 years of service.
