Karen Cornell, RN

Karen went above and beyond for a mother who came by EMS and had her young child with her. The child only had on a soiled diaper and a t-shirt. Karen had her husband bring in PJs that belonged to her grandson so the child would have appropriate clothing, as the child had to remain in the hospital for some hours with his mother during her care. Karen always thinks outside of the box for her patients and makes suggestions or offers of herself when she sees a need.
