Karen cared for a patient suffering from depression who wrote how he appreciated being treated with kindness and compassion by Karen. He never felt like he was being a burden or an inconvenience after he sought help through the Emergency Department. Karen's passion for her profession, empathy for our patients, and selfless commitment to every patient she encounters is truly an inspiration to us all.
