Karen has been a source of comfort for my granddaughter as she battles cancer! We consider her family! My granddaughter has fallen in love with her and is calm when she is her nurse!
She has been a wonderful nurse to my granddaughter. She shows compassion and shares knowledge every day. It’s not just one instance. It’s every single day.

This nominee stays positive and goes the extra mile every single day. She brings calmness to what can be often chaotic situations. She advocates for our daughter and us and strives to make sure we have exactly what is needed at all times. We have essentially lived here since October and every time we have her as our nurse it simply brightens what can be hard days. I don’t know how I’d be able to do this without Karen as our nurse. She is one of the special ones.
