A patient came into the E.R. very sick. The parent of that patient was very upset and had another child who was 3 years of age crying and not behaving; causing the parent to become more stressed. The nurse picked up that crying child and walked the child around the E.R. until the child was calm. The nurse actions helped the parent and patient a ton.
