Karen was nominated by a family member who was at the bedside while her parent was dying. She was very kind, caring, and excellent at explaining what the patient was going through, which made the family more at ease and comfortable. Karen would tell the family how things are and explain what was about to happen which helped the family during this hard time.
Karen is very knowledgeable and very good at knowing how things are after a quick observation. She explained what the patient was going through near the end and how we could help ease his passing by talking to him and sharing memories. The family appreciated everything she did for them and for treating them with dignity and respect.
