Karen has been nominated numerous times by patients, patient's families, and colleagues. The common theme: Karen really cares about her patients/families/colleagues. She makes them feel like they're the most important person in the work. She is always honest and keeps the patient/family informed on what is going on and what will be the next step. She's extremely knowledgeable every time she comes into the patient's room while taking the time to listen. Karen has so much compassion for her patients, she makes them feel at home while they are in a hospital setting.
