Karen is a compassionate and energetic Nurse at Norristown Mercy Life. She has been with us just under a year but has deeply integrated herself into our life community. Karen works in triage and is responsible for the coordination of our labs, and all that occurs in that area of the clinic. She loves her job and the people she serves. Karen is a team player who is always willing to go the mile for other staff members, especially for our participants. Karen picks up extra shifts on the weekends and enthusiastically tackles those extra shift assignments. Karen is dependable and always brings positive energy to every day. Karen has developed great working relationships with the participants, and they often stop by her desk just to say hello. Karen is proactive and plans for the future. She is always looking ahead to minimize any issues that may arise. Karen is always willing to help our nurses when things get very busy or to help them with a new process or procedure. Karen lives our core values, and we love having her as a strong part of our team.
