Committed to excellence. Karen makes sure in regards to our patient care that every "I" is dotted and every "T" is crossed. I have watched Karen over the eight year period that I have worked with her adjust effectively and efficiently to the numerous changes that we have encountered in our division alone. She has helped to develop procedures on our unit and our preoperative manual of instructions that serve as a resource and guide not only to practicing nurses but those that come and need to be oriented to our unit. I have often heard patients and families comment on how well she explains everything and how comfortable she makes them during their time on our unit.
