I want to let you know about the wonderful nurse who helped me before and during my surgery. I was very nervous before my surgery and she helped me feel more at ease. I overheard her husband had been recently diagnosed with leukemia and instead of going to be with him, she stayed after her shift ended to make sure I was okay. I think she is the perfect candidate for the DAISY Award.
