Karen was patient, knew what to say and not to say, spoke slowly and softly to put us at ease and answered our questions. She was caring and compassionate - we MATTERED to her. The best was the hug she gave each of us!!! What could have been only one more painful trip to the doctor after over a month of pain, turned into the beginning of getting better because of Karen. She gave us hope in her knowledge, actions, and words. In our usually impersonal world with technology all over, she is one great human! What a super nurse!
