My son has Down Syndrome and hates vaccines because of the needle. B told another nurse to leave, and she did, but Ms.Gee patiently refused to leave. I asked how they tackle this with other kids and was told that they just don’t do it. That wasn’t an option for us because B is medically complex and needed the shot. Ms. Gee successfully administered the shot. It took ~10 minutes to convince my son to let Ms. Gee touch him, and it was over before he knew what happened.
