I have been an employee on the 4th Floor for almost 5 years but I have never felt that way. Ms. Karen makes us feel like family. She cares about all of us as if we were her own. She is passionate about nursing and is always a patient advocate. I have seen her time after time give money, food or clothes to patients or their families when they cannot afford it themselves. When a patient has a concern about their care, she does not stop until it is resolved. She has many responsibilities as a director but she always makes time to check in regularly with staff and patients. Thank you, Ms. Karen, for all you do!
