Karen has been the most amazing supportive manager on Seidman 4. She loves each and every one of her staff members and would literally do anything for all of us. As a nurse on the floor, I know I can always get a hold of Karen if I need anything at all, no matter the time. She is fun, upbeat and a beautiful person, both inside and out. She is the only manger I know who never fails to make sure we fed. She cooks us food all throughout the year because she knows how much we love to eat as a "family". Any patient issues that need to be addressed are handled in the most professional way by Karen. She has taught us all what the true definition of teamwork is. The teamwork we have on Seidman 4 will stay because of the leaders she has raised on the unit. She will leave that footprint on Seidman 4 for a lifetime. From all of the staff on Seidman 4, we would love to present this DAISY Award to Karen Hess, our manger and our dear friend.
