For the last month and a half, I have brought my students every Saturday to the CPCU unit. Karen has welcomed everyone and precepted 14 students. She was empowering and kept them engaged each week, even when there were days when situations were stressful, she never let the students feel nervous or uncomfortable. She is kind, sincere, knowledgeable and an extraordinary role model for current and future RNs.
