...Karen exemplifies what it means to be a true nursing professional. She not only tended to the day to day needs of administering medication, and checking my wounds, but she also took the time to talk to me as a person.

She made me feel very comfortable especially since I am from out of town and away from family and friends. She helped make UPMC St. Margaret the best hospital I have ever been in. She took the time to call the pharmacy to make sure that they would be open for the holiday, so I could get my medications.
