Congratulations to our latest DAISY award winner, Karen McPherson! Karen, a float pool nurse, was nominated by a co-worker for going above and beyond for a patient. After learning the patient had left their home medications at the hospital, Karen called the patient, got their address, and brought the medications to the patient’s home. Her nominator said, “It is good to know we still have caring people.” Karen, thank you for your dedication to patient care!
