Karen Mercer, RN

A patient nominated Karen after feeling away from family and scared. She was grateful for Karen and shared, This hospitalization was unexpected and scary. I'm an hour away from my family, and physical support was few and far between. Karen was my daytime nurse for much of my stay. This trip was full of lots of questions and doctors. Karen was always a certainty, as was her positive, caring attitude. During an unpleasant visit with a doctor, Karen had my back, stayed in the room, and asked the questions I didn't know to ask. To my family, I called Karen my hospital mom. Everyone deserves a hospital mom, aka Karen. The epitome of what a nurse should be. Thank you!
