Karen provided care and comfort for my mom when she was on 2 Central. My mom was dying, and Karen was the nurse administering morphine to her during those last hours. She was so gentle, respectful, and caring when working with my mom, even though she was unconscious. Karen supported and comforted me and my husband as well through this process. She spoke kindly to us, explained things to me as I watched my mom die. She put me in touch with a social worker to discuss hospice and summoned the chaplain - she actually suggested it. Karen went above and beyond to keep Mom comfortable and to keep me calm, feeling supported. She is an Angel.
