Karen, although I don't know your last name or have never met you, I will be forever in your debt. All I know is your ID and that you are an angel here on earth. My mother was a recent patient of yours. She was 88 and very much a fighter. She was admitted and passed a week later. I was in another state and it was hard to not be able to talk to her or be there with her. On Saturday in the wee hours of the morning, I called and got you. And even though you were extremely busy, you told me to give you about 10 minutes and call back. It was then that you held the phone to her ear and I was able to tell my momma that I loved her. She passed away the next day. I will never be able to put into words what that meant to me. She was an amazing mother of 6 children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandkids. So there is a lot of us hurting right now! I wish the world was different and we could thank you properly or even a gigantic hug, but this card will have to suffice for now. Just know that you and your staff are truly amazing and may God keep each of you and Bless You!
