In addition to giving me superb care, Karen became a touchstone for my family and me at a very confusing time for us. After my biopsy, Karen had redone my bed while I was gone and had me all set up (with my food) after being NPO all day. She held my hand (figuratively) through the hard stuff I had to do that week. And also reminded me of how important it is for me to keep a positive attitude during my treatment. I am so grateful to her for the care and love she showed my mother and me during my stay. God Bless!
