I met Karen when my son was born. I felt immediately comforted by her warmth and secure in her knowledge and directness with me. Serendipitously, she was with me throughout labor. Karen treated me like family and guided me through tough decisions without pressure or bias by educating me on options, so I was confident in my choice. She never pushed an agenda, making it clear that this was about me and my baby. When my labor intensified, she didn't leave my side and delegated care for other patients to team members. She gave me the strength, courage, power, and confidence I needed. I will be forever grateful.
