I want to thank and nominate Karen for her extraordinary care and dedication. My cousin, unfortunately, had to receive an emergency C-section as there was no brain activity. Through caring for the baby, the mother, father, and all extended family coming to visit, Karen never showed any signs of doubt or lack of compassion and care. Karen went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt supported, cared for, and helped as much as she could. Karen provided more care than I personally had when I was in the hospital. She even extended the care and asked to come to the funeral services, and showed how much she cared, outside of her duties or what anyone would ever expect. I have never seen compassion and care from a nurse more than Karen.
