Karen is an amazing nurse. She is always going above and beyond. Karen is one of the best advocates for her patients I have ever seen! She shows such compassion from the heart. For example, she comes in on her days off to sit and spend time to comfort family of a patient who had been steadily declining over a period of time. She also washed clothes at a laundry mat for a homeless patient who had lice. Every day she works, she is such a wonderful example if patient centered care! She truly deserves the DAISY Award.
