Karen Secor, RN

Karen does an excellent job providing compassionate care to her patients. Karen uses her wisdom as a senior nurse to help a very young unit grow into something spectacular. Something specific that stands out to me about her nursing care is the way she spends her time at the bedside. Karen takes time out of her shift to paint her comatose patient's nails, comb out hair that has been ruined by the presence of EEG leads, and truly ensure that her patients are comfortable and understand their diagnoses. Karen is an excellent nurse who truly deserves this recognition.
