Even though we had great care from everyone, one particular nurse was outstanding; Karen Shifflett! From the moment she came on duty, it was obvious we were in the best of hands! My daughter, who is diabetic, had just had a hysterectomy. We were very anxious, but she put us at ease with her outstanding nursing care. I have been an OR nurse for 25 years at another facility and quickly recognized her care as textbook, but filled with caring and compassion, not found in textbooks. My family is very grateful for her great care and feels she deserves to hear what a great job she is doing! Thanks for all you do for your patients Karen!
