Karen goes above and beyond being a nurse. She works on 2 units with adult and pediatric patients. She is a leader and an educator. She is the most compassionate person I have ever met.
She is currently on a mission trip to Belize to provide medical care to the native people there and is organizing a fundraiser for our unit secretary to help her in her fight against cancer.
Karen is a true advocate for her patients and in front of my eyes alone has saved many, fixed many, and even has prevented some from dying.
She is an incredible nurse, a true educator, detailed organizer and an amazing person. I can't express enough how important Karen is to the nursing profession!
