Karen Snead, LPN is an exceptional nurse. This is a very busy Surgical Oncology practice. We deal with very sick, stressed and anxious patients. Karen is always available to the patients with a shoulder to lean on or support while patients are going through the rough cancer journey. She has been asked by a patient to be with them the day of their surgery. Although her role is in the clinic, she has met them at the hospital and stayed with them until they are under anesthesia. This gives these patients a familiar face at a very scary and stressful time in their life.
Karen always treats her patients like they are a family member. She always has a smile and cheerful attitude. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are comfortable, even if it is just to bring them a blanket or take them to their car in the wheelchair when they are too tired from their cancer treatments. Karen Snead shows exceptional care to our patients every day.
