We met Nurse Stamps when we were taken to my husband's room to prepare for his scan. She took his information, helped us prepare, kept us calm, and comfortable. When we came back from the scan she showed concern, did her job quietly and professionally and even tracked down and brought to us the CD copy of the scan that we had requested. She made us feel like nothing was too much of a problem for her and that she was happy to be there for us. Many nurses in her position are not always recognized because they are not involved in the major procedures themselves, but we would like to mention and remind hospital administration of the intergraded part nurses in her position play in the wellbeing of patients and to let Karen know that people notice and thank her.
