Karen met me in the waiting room herself and walked me to the procedure room. This was my very first time receiving treatment from Karen. She performed a procedure on me that I was really dreading because a probe was going to be inserted through my nose, into my throat and then down to my stomach. Karen thoroughly explained everything she was going to do, how I would feel at each interval prior to beginning the procedure. She put me at ease right from the get-go. She continued to explain as she performed the procedure and told me how well I was doing and where we were time wise. Karen was wonderful. Because I was so at ease, she was able to complete the procedure in the normal time frame. She then made sure I was okay and explained the discharge care to me, again, very thoroughly, then walked me out of the procedure room to the waiting room. Karen was professional, kind and caring.
