Karen not only provided the best possible care for my son, by for me as well. She was very supportive of my emotional needs as well as catering to all of our physical needs. She was very attentive, compassionate, caring and very sincere. It was obvious she loved her job. She knows what I need before I do!! She constantly checked on us and never rushed us or our questions. She took her time to make sure we understood everything that was happening and why. She was like my own personal educator. This was my son’s first stay in a hospital. Karen did everything she could possibly do to make this experience for me and my son as smooth and comfortable as possible. She is a wonderful asset to MaineGeneral and our experience.
