I was having a difficult time communicating with several surgeons and other doctors during my recent hospitalization. Karen took the time to explain what was going on in my body and why suggestions and procedures were being discussed. Karen showed utmost professionalism with the care she provided. She always introduced me to the nurse she was handing care to. This alleviated any additional anxiety of "who is caring for me". I know I was not her only patient, but she was always responsive when I called and there when she said she would be. I always received my medications on time and knew what the plan during her shift was. I can't voice enough praise. She changed my hospital nightmare into a better hospital experience.
