I encountered Karen at my surgical appointment, and she got me prepped and settled and reviewed everything with me. She was very personal and funny, which made me feel relaxed. Then my husband entered, and she immediately struck up a conversation with him and made sure he understood what the step-by-step procedure was. 

Karen made us both feel we had known each other for a long time. Then I got to meet J, and she was assisting the anesthesiologists and immediately made me feel so comfortable. J saw my husband’s Notre Dame shirt and struck up a conversation about football, as she is from Indiana, where Notre Dame plays. What was amazing, they were so sincere and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. After my surgery, M brought my husband back to recovery and made sure he did not have any questions or concerns. M showed true concern for me and my husband. This staff made me feel like family the entire time, from the beginning to the time I was discharged. It is very clear they have not forgotten what customer service is and why they became nurses. Truly compassionate and caring individuals. We need more people like them.
