I received nothing short of exemplary treatment from the time I entered the ED by ambulance to the time I was released from the hospital four days later. There was a phenomenal staff that worked together like a fine-oiled machine, but Karen could not do enough for me and encouraged me through my illness.
She took the time to explain the treatment plan and make sure I was always comfortable, all with a pleasant smile and disposition. I teased her about her track shoes, and said, I could see why she wore them!
I'm sure Karen has served many people, as well as our great nation. She has touched my life, and for that, I am truly grateful. Thank you, Karen, for your selfless efforts to serve others. She was a breath of sunshine every day I was there! Her empathy, care, and concern were matched by none.
