Karena is one of the most caring and compassionate nurses that we have on our healthcare team. As an ICU RN Case Manager, Karena provides unmatched customer service to those whom she engages with during some of the most pivotal times in their life. As a leader, Karena provides support to our care management team in a variety of ways - such as through case consultation role modeling involvement in family meetings walking team members through workflow changes, and being attentive to anything that might arise. Karena brings a calm presence and engagement with team members and customers. She continues to role model and shares her calmness during stressful situations which deescalate what may be occurring and enhance the customer experience to be more engaging and productive in care coordination.
