Kari does not hesitate to advocate on behalf of her patients through expert communication with our physicians.
One of our Level III NICU RNs consistently displays the values and special culture of our organization:
1. Witnessed consistent support of fellow nurses by assisting with the care of highly complex neonates.
2. Her communication with new parents who were so distraught that their baby required ventilatory care showed empathy, heart-felt support, and education to assist the parents to understand their baby’s care.
3. Kari routinely displays a positive attitude despite challenging staffing/patient care needs.
4. Kari serves as a mentor to our many novice nurses to educate and train.
