Kari Iden, RN

Kari Iden is a charge nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lutheran Children’s Hospital. Kari is a kind and compassionate nurse who is always willing to help the team in any way she can and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that things run smoothly in her unit. She regularly jumps in to assist with deliveries and c-sections and works with her fellow nurses to help with patient admissions and discharges. Kari is a dedicated nurse who leads by example and inspires the team around her. She works hard to make sure that the unit runs smoothly and efficiently. She always has a positive attitude, despite how hectic the unit may be. Her teammates nominated her for this award in appreciation of Kari and everything she does for her little patients, their families, and her own Lutheran NICU family.
