Kari Kirchmeier 2, MSN, RN, MEDSURG-BC, CNE
I would like to acknowledge Kari for all the hard work and extra hours she puts in on a weekly basis to keep the education of our staff care items and IBON rights to continue offering CEUs for our staff.
She has filed for, and received, grants for better patient reduced or free rate, as well as keeping all the daily education needs of our staff housewide meeting house standards. Kari is very creative and comes up with clever ways to present the same information in different ways to make them memorable. The "Trach in a box" is still one of my favorites.
Kari does a great job of balancing and remembering all the various education needs throughout the house, including the whole house safety fair every year, that includes everybody - not just the nursing staff. With a great talent for remembering faces and names, Kari is able to make each new hire feel they are a part of the team from the first day forward.
